Why we do not do more than that
A custodian that also valued property, advised on distribution, or took a view on entitlement would be useless in exactly the situations where custody matters most — because it would be an interested party.
So we describe and never value. We hold and never adjudicate. It is a narrower service than it could be, and the narrowness is the point.
What the facility is
A 9R-rated vault — the highest UL vault structure rating available — behind two 14,000-pound John Tann doors, above the flood plain, rated above 250 mph sustained wind. Family owned since 1983, with zero security incidents in over forty years.
It is also not a bank. No deposits, no lending, and contents are not FDIC insured — no vault contents anywhere are. Coverage is arranged separately through Lloyd's of London.
And not anonymous
Every client is identified, every access is recorded, and valid legal process is honoured. We publish that because attorneys and representatives carry the risk of a referral and cannot use a facility whose position is a mystery.
Privacy and concealment are different things. We provide the first and decline the second.
